Our Approach

Most HR firms start with a solution. We start by measuring.

With Unfurl Insights, you can see where each team is running into problems and what that costs. The management team selects two or three actions, and we help implement them. The next assessment shows whether it’s working.

Everything has already been tried. But no one knows what the results were.

It's rarely a matter of effort. Often, people start with the solution rather than the cause.

A Solution Without a Diagnosis

A leadership training program just because it felt right. Or a consultant with a plan that’s tailored primarily to what he himself offers.

Data Without Follow-Up

An employee survey with a report that’s now sitting in a drawer. And a management team that can’t agree on why people are leaving.
Our Approach

Insight, action, progress. In that order.

First, figure out where the problem lies. Then do only what makes a difference. And finally, show that it works.

Insight01

First, check where it's rubbing

With Unfurl Insights, you can see what's going on and what it costs for each team. The management team then selects the two or three actions with the greatest impact.

The same team helps with implementation—from leadership and HR consulting to interim HR and tech. Or you can do it yourselves, with us serving as a sounding board.

What You GetTwo or three actions, each with an owner
Progress03

Seeing that it works

We measure progress again every quarter or every month. You can see what’s improving for each team, and we make adjustments where things aren’t working.

What You GetA new metric that shows the impact per team

What you'll have on the table after the measurement

Here's an example of one team. For each theme, you can see how things are going. And where there are issues, it explains what we're doing about them.

Why not just use an HR agency?

An HR firm often recommends what it can provide itself. We assess the situation first, and only make recommendations that are supported by our assessment.

A new route is needed

The Farm Kitchen: 20% lower labor costs and 20% higher revenue.

The hospitality concept grew rapidly, but the HR structure did not keep pace. Contracts expired without anyone noticing, and half of the new hires left within six months. In three months, we established a selection process, onboarding program, career path, and salary structure. Performance management followed.
“We knew something had to be done, but we didn’t know where to start. Unfurl helped us make a choice and stayed with us until it was up and running.”

“We only make recommendations based on what the measurements show. Sometimes that’s less than you’d expect.”

You only have to tell your story once

Whoever conducts the initial assessment also performs the measurement and the follow-up work. There is no handoff to a colleague who would have to start from scratch.

Calculation Example

What is the cost of not knowing?

Enter your own numbers. That way, you can see how much employee turnover costs right now and what a small improvement can yield.

The process will now cost you approximately€756,00024 people leaving per year
A 15% reduction in turnover makes a difference€113,000per year
Bring these figures with you to the interview →Calculation example: Replacement costs an average of 70% of an annual salary (ABN AMRO).

Want to know where it is first?

Jolke will respond within one business day. After that, you’ll schedule a 30-minute introductory meeting and receive a proposal with pricing and a timeline—with no obligation.
The numbers from the math example are already there. Feel free to add anything else you notice.

Questions You Might Have

How much does it cost?

That depends on your request and the number of employees. After our initial meeting, you'll receive a proposal with a price and schedule.

Do we have to buy everything from you after that?

No. You decide on a case-by-case basis whether you want us involved. There’s a lot you can do on your own, too.

Is the survey anonymous?

Yes. We only display results for groups of five or more people.

We already use an MTO tool, such as Effectory. Is this redundant?

Not necessarily. An MTO tool provides you with data. We then help you choose, implement, and measure again.

How quickly do you respond?

Within one business day. After that, you'll schedule a 30-minute introductory meeting.
