Interim HR, Process Reengineering, Nmbrs
Outcome
Operations continued to run smoothly, with more efficient processes and a smooth handover

PXR's HR team was temporarily understaffed. Unfurl provided additional operational capacity, strategic HR support, and a more efficient operational structure.

PXR needed practical support with HR operations and someone who could help with broader people and organizational issues.

We joined the team alongside our HR colleague in charge of operations. Jolke temporarily took on the role of Head of HR and served as a sounding board for the executive team. Finn focused on day-to-day operations and the organizational structure of Nmbrs.

Challenge

Temporary capacity addresses understaffing, but does not change the way we work. While carrying out our day-to-day operations, we immediately saw opportunities to streamline our processes.

Approach

We mapped out the key HR processes, revised the performance management procedures, and set up workflows in Nmbrs. This made recurring tasks simpler, more consistent, and less reliant on manual work.

The temporary capacity was thus immediately put to use to build a lasting improvement.

Solution

Unfurl kept the business running, supported management, and worked to build a stronger HR foundation.

  • Operations: Ensuring Day-to-Day HR Operations Run Smoothly
  • Improvement: Reviewing processes to find ways to work smarter
  • Setup: Improving Support for Nmbrs and Workflows
  • Transferring: Bringing Knowledge and Ownership into the Organization

When the new HR employee started, we trained her and transferred our knowledge, processes, and responsibilities to her. This frees up time so we can spend less time on administrative tasks and focus more on the people and the organization.

Next Steps

We got involved, improved the process, and ensured a smooth transition.
